"I have worked tirelessly on behalf of the constituents of my district the past two years in the Michigan Legislature"

Keeping on Pace for Our Future
For the past three years, I have worked tirelessly on behalf of the City of Saginaw and surrounding townships in the State legislature.
I have built bi-partisan relationships, worked my way into leadership positions, and amassed a record of success for our district.
The following has been brought home to our district:
-
$2 million for Saginaw State University
-
$1 million for Saginaw United High School
-
$400,000 of investment to the Come out Stay Out Saginaw program
-
$12 million for out-of-school funding for the YMCA (for which I was named a Champion for Out of School time Funding from the Michigan After School Partnership, 2023)
-
$1.8 million in state funding for the Crow Island State Game Area to protect wetlands
-
$25 million in essential public health funding to the county health department
-
Over $30 million in investment in the medical infrastructure of Saginaw
Key legislative wins for all Michiganders this term include:
-
Gun safety reforms for background checks, safe storage, and red flag laws
-
Prohibition on convicted domestic abusers owning firearms
-
Increase in working family tax credits
-
Repeal of the retirement tax
The job is not done yet. And neither am I.
